Our journey began through the compassionate eyes of our founder, Stuart Lee, whose childhood in the North West of the UK was touched by the visible struggles of those fighting for the most basic necessity—a home.
Seeing the ripple effects of homelessness and housing insecurity spurred a resolve in Stuart: to build a bridge of hope and action.
Under Stuart’s guidance, Let’s MAD has blossomed into a force for positive change, creating safe, affordable spaces and nurturing the collective spirit of our community.

Having worked in the charitable sector for several years, I have had first-hand experience of the mental challenges faced by individuals who don’t have a place to call home. As a huge advocate for mental health, the ethos of Let’s Mad resonates with my own. People deserve the basic securities of life, with their family and loved ones. Stuart and the team have a desire to Make A Difference. If we can help one family, then we have done a great thing.
As Matthew Crook, the owner of Rossiter Construction Ltd, my decision to become a partner in Let’s MAD stems from a deep commitment to making a meaningful impact in our community. At the heart of Let’s MAD is a mission that aligns perfectly with my values—providing housing for the vulnerable and creating sanctuaries for those in need.
Partnering with Let’s MAD allows me to use my expertise in construction to contribute to a cause that goes beyond business, bringing hope and stability to individuals who need it most.
I wanted to get involved to help support those individuals
and families who need assistance and don’t always know where to look. Having been in housing and property for over 20 years I see first hand the shortfall of affordable homes, council supply and over demand and often things just don’t happen fast enough for them.
If my knowledge can help even 1 family then it’s been worthwhile.

That’s why I started Let’s MAD – to provide a solution. Our mission is to offer safe, affordable housing to the most vulnerable, ensuring they have a place to call home. We work tirelessly with charities, businesses, and ethical investors to bridge the gap between market rates and available funding.
